Aurora rode her mare across the valley. The village was just in sight, and she needed to return before nightfall. The wind whipped her hair around her face, cooling her off from the long ride back in the desert.
The cream horse beneath her slowed down to a trot as they approached the gate, it's mane tangled and full f dirt and dust. As the gatewan made-way, Aurora dismounted and headed toward her home at the far side. Leading her mare, she walked down many streets and lanes, until at last she saw the welcoming stable shinning in the moonlight.
Closing the paddock gate shut, she watched as her horse rolled in the dirt to cool off, as the nights were sometimes hot and dry, instead of moist and cool in the Autumn months.
Desiding it was late, she walked into her house, passing her dozing brother in the kitchen, and heading up to shower and rest. The next morning, she would set off again, only this time, to the wood.

Waking up, Sheldon raised his head. Something was dripping down his chin ... the spegetti he ate last night. He wipped it off with his hand. He looked out the window. The sun was rising. It was morning. Morning ... he jumped out of his chair. "Aurora!" He shouted. "Damnit! Can't believe I fell asleep!" He ran up the stairs to her bedroom. The bed was messy, but she wasn't in it. He heard something moving in the other room ... He ran to the bathroom, bursting in. Aurora grabbed a towel, covering herself. "Opps, sorry ..." Sheldon said, closing the door. "Welcome home!" he said. "Sorry I fell asleep ..."

"You'r always asleep!" She spat, angrily, pulling on her tan silk bathrobe. "And ever heard of nocking?" Walking out of the bathroom, she tied her hair back into a ponytail. She then walked back to her room, shut the door, and was back a moment later.
She came out in her dark riding pants and croptop, her scak flung easily over her shoulder. "Have a nice rest?" She asked, tooking at his messy hair and greasy face.

"Haha, shut up" He said sarcasticly. "Just wait a few more minutes." He said, walking into the bathroom, starting the shower. "I'm coming with you" He hopped into the shower. He washed and then hopped out of the shower. I dried himself, and started getting dress. He had brought new clothes into the bathroom with him. He put on his own riding pants, and such. He grabbed his black bag, which was bulging with the stuff he packed last night. "You hear me?" he said, walking downstairs. "I'm coming with you" He shook his air, water flinging everywhere.

"Hey! I just washed the floors yesterday! Something you should try doing once in a while!" She yelled at him, strapping her back tightly around her shoulder. Trotting down the stairs after him, she beat him to the door. "Close it behind you, this time, please." She urged, walking to the stables and picking up her horse's sabble and tossing it lightly and easily unto its back. She then attached the bridel and mounted.
Glaring at her brother, she said "Oh, come ON Sheldon! I havn't got all day! I need to see someone today and yo...what are you doing with that?" She asked, watching him put a knife into one of his saddle bags.

Looking at her, Sheldon replied "For protection ... you know ... you can never know what or who you could meet in that forest ..." He hopped on his horse. "Besides. You can never be too careful." He made his horse go forward by squeezing in his legs. Galapping along towards the woods at an even pace, he looked back at the old house. He sighed, remembering their parents. They were gone, and now he had to go out and get money. He sighed again. He looked back, seeing the dark woods in front of him. "Well ... which path are we going to be taking?" he asked, looking at the two paths, thinking what would be the best one, but now leaving it up to his sister.

"The left, the right leads to the Woodland Farms, and I have no buisness there anymore." Nudging on her tan mare, she trotted to her left and led them through a clear cut trail intil they came to a little brook. She then led her mare across it and toward the North, off onto a warn and old abondoned trail. The leaves brushed lightly agianst her cheek as they walked forward.
Then, suddenly, out from her right, came a large snap. "Damn, I was afraid of this." She muttered, nudging on her horse, starting her into a cautious trot.

Hearing the snap, too, Sheldon skillfully slipped his hand in and out of his bag, grabbing the knife. He heard another snap, this time from the other side. "Aurora ..." he said, taking out his second knife he had packed earlier. "Lets stop for some rest soon ..." He had no intention of resting when they stopped. He just hopped Aurora would catch that. Something ran behind him. He gave a little jump. He was starting to get the chills ... "So ..." he said, waiting for the thing to strike "what exactly is going to be happening?"

"What ever do you mean?" She questioned, dismounting and letting the mare take a dink out of a nearby stream. "We are almost to Chestwood, and there I shall meet a friend and get an item I need to take to someone else. You wanted to know what I do all day and this is it, I trade and deliver items across the land." She then opened one of her lined saddlebags and began to fill it with water using a cup she had brought. "We may not return here, and this is the best water. We may need to cross through the desert, and we will need water if the oasis is dry today." She dipped her warm hands into the ice cold water. -hmm, seems cooler today than usual, almost like ice...-

"What a boring job ..." he said, dismounting his own horse to fill his own saddle bag, waving off the things he though he heard to squirles and chipmunks, putting his knives away. "So ... do you know what this object is?"
